The reef knot is an ancient and simple binding knot used to secure a rope or line around an object. It was known to the ancient Greeks as a binding knot and is still used extensively in medicine and in martial arts. In addition to being used by sailors for reefing and furling sails, it is also one of the key knots of macramé textiles. We decided to name our blog after this knot because of its simplicity and variety of use.
We promise to post soon our next post. Also we would like to thank Davide, our friend who’s masterfully helping us develop our website, Sandra and Idris for their precious advice and all of our dearest friend who are always very supportive!
Thank you!
